Quote Me Wednesday

Let’s break up the work week.
Share one of your favorite quotes with us. It could be from a movie, poem, song or even something you wrote.
I’ll start with one I wrote earlier on my Twitter page:

“Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.”

~ Bill Cosby

  1. "A hard fall means a high bounce…if you're made of the right material." ~UnknownUnfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?!) I've had a bit of experience with this one, lol!!

  2. I like that quote a bunch! "Be like the turtle. It has to stick its neck out to get anywhere"- Some sort of proverb recently posted from my blog…I completely forget the source!Don't you just love how Twitter has so many quotes floating around? I always follow people with inspiring quotes, it is such a nice pick me up!Enjoy your day and remember to stick you neck out to get somewhere!

  3. "Understand that friends come and go, but with a precious few youshould hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography andlifestyle, because the older you get, the more you need the peoplewho knew you when you were young." ~ Mary SchmichSo happy I stayed close to my girlfriends from school. We graduated high school 28 years ago and 15 to 20 of us still get together twice a year for JUGs Weekends – Just Us Girls. I feel so lucky to have them!

  4. These are all so GREAT!!! Sandra – I just snorted a little. 🙂 Ok, here' one I wrote on my Facebook page the other day: "Sometimes we give meaning to the past by cofronting our ghosts in the present"

  5. “Perhaps it is better to be un-sane and happy, than sane and un-happy.But it is the best of all to be sane and happy. Whether our descendants can achieve that goal will be the greatest challenge of the future. Indeed, it may well decide whether we have any future.”- Arthur C. Clarke

  6. This is such a deep blog! What can I say; you’ve hit the nail right on the head! You even added some videos to make it seem so much more real. You’ve got a great way of communicating with the reader, a great way of making me feel like what you have to say is just as important to me as it is to you. Keep it up!

  7. This is a quote to be a subject in my next entry..!

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure , than to take rank with those poor spires who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat. -President Theodore Roosevelt

  8. When I initially commented I seem to have clicked on the
-Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is
added I get 4 emails with the same comment.

There has to be a way you are able to remove me from that service?
    Appreciate it!
